Cokelatin was established in 2016 as a micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (UMKM) that aims to showcase Indonesian original chocolate to the International market. It creates premium chocolate drink powder products under the Cokelatin Signature brand, using fermented cocoa beans sourced from South Sulawesi and East Java, which contains a minimum of 22% cocoa butter or chocolate fat.
The company dreams of improving the welfare of chocolate farmers in Indonesia and showing the international market that Indonesia is not only the world's third-largest producer of cocoa beans but also has premium-quality chocolate drink products
Not only focusing on creating premium products, but also supporting and empowering local farmers in several beautiful regions of the archipelago and promoting circular economic development, especially in the villages where we source all of our raw materials. Indonesia has the best cocoa bean varieties in the world, with only 10% being CRIOLLO. However, there are still very few chocolate products in Indonesia that use CRIOLLO.
